Our sweet Fynn did SO great when I dropped him off. He said to me "My Class" and then with a question "Crying?" I said "No, crying my sweet boy" He said "ok" and watched as I left the classroom. He watched me until he could not longer see me. Heartbreaking!!
When I came to pick him up he saw me and ran to me screaming with excitement "My Mommy, My Mommy!" Then he yawned and said "Night, Night." His teachers said he did great, and cried a few times only because there were other kids crying. They said it was more like a domino effect. His teachers love him. They told me he made them laugh so hard today. At one point when there was a bunch of crying from other kids, Fynn got his backpack from his cubby and said "I go home" and headed for the door. Hilarious!!! On our drive home I asked Ely if he remembers his teachers names. He said he didn't know. Just then Fynn said his own teachers names all by himself "Miss Sarah, he says Miss Sawah, and Miss Gail" I was SOOO shocked when he did that! My super smart adorable little 2 year old!
Ely had a great day also! He insisted on sitting on the curb and taking a picture with Henry before we went to school. When I went to his classroom to pick him up I found him in the corner playing with his new friend Liam. I was SO happy that he made a friend, and was having a blast with pretend play. His teachers said he had a great day! I know we will have many more to come!
Walking in to school. This says it all. Ely in the lead, and Fynn just taking his sweet time looking around. He always walks into things and people because he is just so chill, without a care in the world.
He looks like such a big boy in this picture!
This is from orientation last week. I love this picture. They really are the best of friends, and want to do everything together. Ely is so protective of Fynn and loves him SO much.
