Right before this paper is completely ripped to shreds
After that was destroyed, he wanted down. So we are talking just diaper with shoes. Luckily we didn't have to wait too long and he was entertained spinning the Dr's "swirly" round chair with a tiny piece of paper that he had previoulsy ripped off the bed placed on top of the chair. The game was to see how fast he could spin it around before the paper would fall off.
The exam went well! Not a tear from this tough guy. All checked out well, but to my surprise and delight, he gave him some antibiotics and prescription cough syrup. Dr. Mitchell said that the cold had become more of a sinus/bateria infection and he felt that a 10 day dose of antibiotics was needed. So then it was off to CVS where we always have to wait at least 30 min. Fun times!! Oh and let me add that when we got home from CVS, they forgot the cough syrup. ROAR!
I've been meaning to text you to see how y'all are doing today! It's hard when the kiddos are sick...but it's HORRIBLE when you don't feel well on top of that. Let me know if I can do anything to help out.
ReplyDeleteWe are doing so so much better! Ely is back to his old self. Still a bit of a runny nose, but as we know, that can take a awhile to finally go away. I feel fine now as well, just don't have much of a voice! It is slowly coming back so that is good. Thanks for checking on us! Hope you are having a fun week!
