I seem to remember getting just as much joy from this meal when I was a kid as Ely does. Heck, who am I kidding, I still love it! This is one of Merriland's recipes that we used to eat all the time at the ranch. Kasey and I finally learned how to make it, and when we stayed with our Opi, we would make it for him. Essentially is just noodles, ground beef, cottage cheese, cream cheese, tomato sauce and sour cream.

On a side note, Ely has been very attached to his plastic pumpkin filled with candy from Halloween. He carries it around everywhere. He hasn't figured out how to get into the candy, well except for the box of hot tamales, which he inhaled. Wasn't even phased by the fire hot little candies! So because of his fascination with the pumpkin bucket, we left it sitting in the playroom. We came back from running errands and opened the door to...open, empty candy wrappers all over the room! Let me add that this included banana laffy taffys stuck to the rug. Apparently Henry is a little bit more advanced in his candy wrapper opening skills, b/c our dog had a little belated Halloween party of his own!! I was just waiting for him to get sick, but I guess he has quite the sweet tooth and his tummy was just fine with it!
Looks like the only one that gave him trouble were the skittles :)
