Ely decided it would be a good idea to cut his hair during quiet time a few weeks ago. He told me, "Well Mommy, my bangs were in my eyes"
Clearly by the time this picture was taken, you can tell by his little face he knew he had made a bad decision...
Love this.. our neighbor Levi is all boy also.. when I say all boy, I mean these little dudes are so tough, rough, only want to get dirty, only want to play outside etc. It was 30 degrees and I see them both outside covered in mud with the water hose on!! They said they were "mud monsters"
Yesterday I picked Ely up from school and he had a bloody nose. Apparently he was playing rough with a friend and got punched in the nose. The first thing he said to me was "I'm fine, I didn't cry and it doesn't hurt" His teacher said the only way she knew something was wrong is because he was holding his nose in his hands during outside play, and when she walked over there was blood gushing out! He told her the same thing "It doesn't hurt, we were just playing"
We are having some work done on our house and Ely is just in heaven. He runs to get his toolbox that Opi and Gigi bought him (Real tools in a real tool box) and has made friends with the workers. He has spent hours out there with them all by himself. He told me "Mommy, when I grow up I want to be a construction worker."
Ely just loves to swim. We occasionally go up to Emler so he can get some play swim during the winter months.
He had a blast at the Kidville MLK Day camp. He came home with some goodies including a few play mustache's
