Boys and Their Trucks

Porter and Ely look so handsome driving the Hummer!  Today, they got to go see the movie Monster's Inc together with their Daddy's.  So much fun!  Daddy said they were having discussions about the movie while it was showing.

Ely has been worried there are monsters in his room at night, but I think Buzz Lightyear has become our solution.  Ely has decided Buzz will sit on his nightstand and shoot his laser to make the monsters go away when they appear.  Since his friend Buzz is with him at night, he has stopped calling out to us that monsters are in his closet. He also likes to wear his spiderman pajamas for "double" protection..

Some funny tid bits - the other day Ely wanted to play doctor with me.  I was the patient of course, and when he took my temperature he said "Oh, that's not good, it is 24 cents, you are sick mommy"

Our neighbor Levi came over to play the other day.  I heard something break and then Ely say "don't tell my Mom"    The kid just turned 4 a few weeks ago!
