A Day in the Life of Ely, Fynn, and Zander: Happy 4th Birthday Ely!!

Our big boy turned 4 years old last Saturday! It is so fun to hear him count down the days to his birthday, and to see how excited he gets. The day before his birthday, he got to celebrate at school. He talked about his lightening McQueen and Mater cake all week long.

He was so excited that Mommy, Daddy, and Fynn got to come to his class to eat cake and sing happy birthday with his teachers and friends!

The next morning was Ely's actual birthday! He woke up and got to make some super fun pancakes with Daddy!

He got to put sprinkles, strawberries, and whip cream on his pancakes since it was his special day

After breakfast it was time to open presents.

One of the things Ely asked for was an accordion like his music teacher has at school. He wanted a "really big one"

Later in the day, we went over to Aba and Baba's house to celebrate Baba's birthday. Ely forgot that he and Baba share a birthday and was very excited! He had also very adamantly asked for a pinata for his birthday. It was hysterical watching him try to hit the pinata.
