Ely In Heels

Yesterday before we went to our Rosh Hashana dinner, Ely decided to walk around the house in my booties.  He said, "Mommy, they are so awesome, like tap shoes" (how does he know what tap shoes are?)

We then had a major melt down when we had to leave because he didn't want to let me wear them.  He tried to pull my sweater I was wearing as hard as he could so it would stretch out.. funny.. he definitely knows how to push my buttons :)

Some other funny moments recently -

Ever since we had the bad hail storm a few months ago, every time it rains, Ely says it will hail - and he wants it to hail very badly.  The other day it was raining and he says "Mommy, I want ice.  Please bring the ice"  When I told him I had no control over that he freaked out, got so mad and sobbed saying "I want the ice, I want the ice"  

He now likes to do his "business" (both kinds) by himself in privacy.  The other day I went in to see if he needed help pulling his pants down and he said "Mommy go away or I will pee pee on you!"  

Geez!!  I get told around here these days!
