Fynn's First Birthday

It's hard to believe our littlest guy is already a year old!  He is growing and changing way too fast.

Some new updates on Mr. Fynn -

No more bottles!  I tried not to think about his "last" bottle or I would get sad, but he was barely drinking them anymore, so we are finished with bottles and on to whole milk... which he loves.

He is now clapping, waving, and getting better at his sign language (all done and more is what we work on the most)

We are pretty sure he said his first real word besides Mama and Dada.. "chicken"!  He has said it a few times, however I think he might have forgotten because the last few days he wont say it anymore :(

Not walking yet, but I suspect in the next month or two he will be on the move!

His birthday party was a blast and it surprisingly was not too hot!  We had it in our backyard and borrowed a huge water slide from our good friends for the older kids.

Ely probably had about 3 cupcakes.. plus ice cream and cake!

Fynn wasn't quite sure what to make of the cake, however big brother helped him out!

He got a little dirty... Fynn didn't want cake all over his face :)

Ely couldn't help himself :)  This is what Ely's cake looked like after his first birthday, so he thought Fynn should have the same experience!

Ely's sailor hat came in waaaaay too small, so we had to cut it. Oh well, not the picture I was hoping for, but I couldn't get him to sit still anyway!!
