Big Boy Bed

We did it!  Ely made the switch to his big boy bed and it has been such an easy transition.  He loves it!!  He helped Daddy put it together and even helped to put the sheets on his bed.  Daddy loves laying in bed with Ely at night to read him his stories.

I can't believe Ely will turn 3 on Friday!  He is becoming such a little boy and not a toddler anymore.  He continues to make us laugh with the silly things he says.  Here are some funny ones -

I have mentioned before that when he has a big poo poo he says "Mommy I have a T-Rex Poo Poo"
Now if it is a small one he says "I have a Rabbit Poo Poo"

He can still be mischievous of course.. I found him the other day putting all his clean clothes in a garbage bag outside.  Fun times.

I dropped something the other day and he said "poor mommy"  I started laughing really hard.

He plays with Henry all the time and I hear him say "Bad boy Henry, time out"

This one is hilarious... he tooted the other day and said "excuse me, I make gas"

We were at soccer tots the other day and he decided in the middle of running around he needed a break.  He said "I take break" and went and sat down for a bit.

Yesterday he spent time with Baba while I did some last minute Birthday shopping and when I got home he said "Mommy Mommy!!  Big hug"  then he said "I missed you Mommy"  My heart melted!!
