In a matter of about 20 minutes -
- Ely checks out the coat closet and finds an unopened box that contains a floaty for the pool. He takes it out and puts it on over his clothes. He comes to me and says "I go to swimming pool" I say "okay buddy you do that." So he heads outside.
- He comes back inside a few minutes later with no floaty and no shoes or socks.. He says something I can't understand and goes back outside. I then hear some loud commotion. He has decided to serve Henry dinner which consists of very very large rocks. Henry has a glass bowl. Fun times. As of this morning, Henry's bowl has gone missing.
- The back door opens again, I don't see Ely, however a banana peel comes flying inside the house and lands near the kitchen. Door shuts again. Interesting note- Ely has not had a banana to eat all day...
- Fynn has hoovered massive amounts of food at this point, so we head out to find big bro (the destructor :)
I see his shoes and socks thrown over the air conditioner units. It's not hard to figure out what he was trying to do. The baby pool is kept back there.. yep, and there is the floaty draped over the pool. Apparently he gave up on that plan.. so where is he?
- He emerges from the bushes with Henry both covered in sand saying "poo poo." Not as bad as I thought. Phew! He has a place where he hides outside to take a poo. Such a boy. I'm not sure how he and the dog got covered head to toe in sand (Well .. that's not hard to figure out either) Anyway, at least they were both in one piece and it seems that backyard was still in tact as well.
We decided at this point to bathe Henry. Ely was excited to put his floaty back on to head to Mom and Dad's shower. He wanted to bring Henry to the shower "all by myself" Poor dog
Job well done! When's Daddy going to be home? :)
That is hilarious. I can just imagine your face when a random banana peel comes flying in. So funny. I hope you guys are doing good! - Kasey
