Halloween

What a fun Halloween we had!  I wish I had more pictures, but there was so much going on that I simply forgot!  I am so happy we took the pictures at the Pumpkin Patch on Sunday because Ely got a black eye today (jumping in his crib.. ugh) and trick or treating is during Fynn's "witching hour", so that little guy didn't even make it into his banana costume!  Every year there is a block party one street over, and it just so happens that one of the houses is Ely's buddy Aiden from school.  Aiden and Noah's parents invited probably about 30 kids plus parents over to their house for pizza before we went outside to the block party and trick or treating.  We had SO much fun.

Our neighbor's and Ely's friend William came to the party with us.  This is before we walked over.  Ely ran up to William's house to get him.  William said "Hi Ely" and Ely said "Hi William" in return.  Our hearts melted!!

Ely actually "got" Halloween last year, but this year he really "got" it.  He ran up to every door, said "trick or treat" and then said "thank you." He would then turn to daddy and say "more candy" and run to the next house.  It was great because the street was blocked off and there were 50 plus kids running around, and parents standing around with their "cold beverages" :)

He didn't stop once!
