Ely's First Pumpkin Carving

Ely was very excited to carve his first pumpkin today!  He didn't know what "carving" meant at first, but he happily helped me gather the supplies and carry the pumpkin to the front door. 

After everything Ely "gets into" around the house, the little guy didn't want to help me take the seeds and insides out of the pumpkin because he didn't want his hands to get dirty... really?  Opi, I think it's time to put Ely to work on the ranch and show him what dirty is all about :)  However, he did enjoy coloring his pumpkin

He kept saying "eyes, nose, and mouth" and was exited to see his pumpkin come to life!

Fynn enjoyed hanging out in his chair :)
