Ice Cream on a Hot Day

Before the crazy storms rolled through yesterday, we met Vic and Eddie up at Baskin Robbins for some ice cream and then walked over to Kidville.  I love that they are members there as well, because we can utilize the free space together.
These 2 had to finish their ice cream before we went inside, and they couldn't decide which was more important!

Kidville proved to be quite the experience yesterday.  We let the kids play in the village (which is like a HUGE play room.  They have big play trolley, and 4 different rooms.  One is a work room with tools, another is a diner with booths and an awesome kitchen, there is a pretend nursery with dolls etc. and finally a grocery store with the most impressive play food you have ever seen.  It is pretty amazing!  Anyway, Eddie and Ely were running around the trolley playing "hide and seek".. Ely would jump out and say "A BOO"  Eddie was laughing and running so hard he tripped and fell, hitting his mouth on the corner of the trolley.  All of a sudden I see something fly out of his mouth... YES.. His Tooth!! ahhh!  Michelle freaked, and I ran over and grabbed the tooth so she could pack her things up and take him to the ER.  Long story short, it was his front tooth (poor little guy) the pain was short, and Dr.'s don't replace baby teeth so he will just have to be wishing for a  front tooth for a few more Christmas's to come :)

  1. Glad y'all had so much fun! We really need to get together soon. We miss y'all.

Oh no - poor little guy with his tooth. This is the third kiddo I've heard of this happening to. He'll have a toothless school picture for a while and then everyone will forget that it even happened! I guess, more than anything...it's "poor Mommy"!

  2. Oh my gosh!!! That happened to a little girl on Ryan's soccer team when she was one, so she has a cute little gap-tooth smile.
