Yesterday we had friends over and his friend Kate's Mom asked him if he was excited to become a big brother. He ran over to me, pointed to my belly and said "a baby" He then lifted my shirt up and kissed my stomach. I think Lauren and I both teared up!! :)
After his nap, we always cuddle for a bit in the rocking chair. When he wants to get down he turns to me, kisses me right on the lips and says "all done" and jumps down. One day he missed my lips, so he had to make sure he kissed me again right smack dab on my mouth like he normally does. He really kisses now.. puckers up and makes the smooch sound. How sweet is that??!!
This morning we were playing and he spilled my coffee everywhere in the playroom. I told him to hurry and go get a towel. He sprinted to the laundry room where we keep our towels but they were all dirty and in the machine. So then I saw him run out and to the front door where we had a towel laying in the entryway from all the rain. He grabbed that one and came running back to the spilled coffee and started dabbing... yes.. dabbing! I didn't have to do anything!!

We woke up, ate breakfast, and then Ely got to open 2 gifts (our big gift is a sandbox, but we need to wait until the backyard is finished) He doesn't look anything like Daddy in this photo... :)

Once we got to Aba and Baba's, Uncle Daniel was home from college to give Ely his gift. Thanks Uncle Daniel!!!

Ely loved his Elmo cupcake so much I brought some with us, but Baba had a cupcake for him as well. Oh well, it's only his birthday once a year! Sugar rush it is!! :) We couldn't not give him the Elmo one since all he kept saying was Elmo Elmo Elmo over and over. He had practice blowing candles earlier in the day, and was a pro this time!
They didn't blow out the first time, so he kept on trying.. He's looking at us telling him to blow harder. So cute!

By the end of the night he was exhausted! Time to brush teeth and go to bed (which by the way our Big Boy brushes his own teeth now)
