22 Months Old

Back on March 11th, our Mr. Ely turned 22 months old.  He is becoming such a little boy and we are loving every minute with him.  He has added some more words to his growing vocabulary and is now up to about 20 + words.  Some of his new words are -
Out
Car
Ball
Bubble
I love
Elmo
Egg
Ely (sometimes :) )
Shoe

He is starting to know his colors.  He also pretty much mimics everything we do.  So we are having a lot of fun with "dance parties".  It is soo funny - he will fist pump, shake his butt etc.  Ely also put his first puzzle together all by himself!  Impressive!  He has always been good at things like that.. I think they call it "fine motor skills". When we ask him which sounds animals make, he can make the sound.  His favorite is the horse sound.. he yells it as loud as he can. 

Food -
Up until now, I have been serving his veggies first, then his favorites b/c if I put everything on at one time, he will leave the veggies.  I am now able to put all his food on his plate, and he knows to eat the veggies first.  So proud of him!

Sleep -
Still trying to find the perfect time for his nap.  I would like him to sleep longer than 1.5 hours a day, but I know we will get there.. we always do!  He has always been a great sleeper, it just takes him some time to adjust.

We love him sooo much, and I really don't think he can get any cuter!
