All Tied Up

Before I get to the funny story, we are excited to say that our highchair days are over.  No "tear" on this one because I was SO tired of cleaning that thing and our lack of progress with Ely throwing food.  I am so so happy that he loves sitting at the bar in a booster chair.  There is so much less mess...probably b/c of the huge counter space, not because he is cleaner.. but I will take it!  No more throwing food!  I also cannot eat toast in front of him in the morning without him demanding a piece of his own.  This morning I gave in and buttered one up for him.  He thought it was sooo cool to be eating the same thing as Mama

After breakfast I always put him in his playroom so I can clean up around the kitchen.  Normally this lasts 10 min tops, but this morning I was able to clean up AND write out my grocery list.  I was a little scared as to why he was being quiet in there for so long.  I crept around the corner to spy on him, and saw that he had unraveled a string from Henry's toy and was busy wrapping it around he and Henry.  The poor dog couldn't even walk b/c his paw was so tightly wrapped!

Of course he had to put string on himself as well, but made sure he stayed mobile :)

Our trash digging days are still in full force - string and all.  Today's treasure is a waffle!

Yes, those bites are from him, and No it was not loose in the trash.. still in the box.
