Home for the Holidays

Ely and I drove down to San Antonio yesterday for Merrilyn's surprise 60th B-day and plan on staying the week!  Daddy flies down on Tuesday and will be so excited given that he has seen us for about 1 day the last 10 days since he has been in Puerto Rico for work. 

Exciting news!  Ely said a whole sentence this morning over breakfast!!  Gigi, Memo, and Opi were eating with Ely, and Gigi was bringing his sippy cup to him and he said "put it right there" and pointed to his cup holder on his high chair.  They all heard it and looked at each other in astonishment!  I am pretty sure I have heard him say that before, but this confirms that I was not dreaming it up in my head.:)  Ely spoke a sentence!!!  Later today he said a clear "oh no"! 

He loves his recliner here in SA.  We have dubbed it "Ely's Chair".  Here he is watching Sesame Street
