Truck Show

Every year Temple Sherith hosts a truck show featuring all kinds of big trucks.  Fire Trucks, Abulances, 18 wheelers, and Mark even had one of his Limo's there this year.  Last year Ely was too small, but this year he really enjoyed it!  He wasn't quite sure what to think of the kids blowing the 18 wheeler horn, but once it was his turn I couldn't get him out of the truck!

So proud of Daddy's Limo!

This was our favorite part.  Look how tiny Ely looks inside this huge 18 wheeler!  He loved the steering wheel

Look at that big smile!  Instead of pushing the steering wheel to blow the horn like we have in our car, you have to pull a rope that hangs above you.  I didn't even have to show Ely what to do.  I simply said, "pull the rope" and pointed to it.  He pulled down on it, and the horn blew SO loud.  He looked at me and squeeled with excitement.  He wanted to do it again, and again, and again :)

  1. Jaime!! I love the blog!! How fun! You're doing such a great job with it! I just added it to my "favorites" so I can get my daily dose of Ely! (Once a week play group just isn't enough for me.) ;)

  3. Little boys just love big trucks! Ely very much reminds me of my youngest nephew, Pete. When we brought him to the Power Truck show last year, he exclaimed in such a joyous way! He said seeing those trucks firsthand was a dream come true. :]
