So Many New Accomplishments!

I definitely feel like we go through phases where Ely does one new thing after another.  Normally this all happens within a week or two.  He has his 18 month well visit coming up next week, so I have been checking alot of boxes these last two weeks on the 18 month survey they gave me.  Yes, the beloved survey that I love so much :)  I am very proud to say he is a "yes" to everything except 3 questions under the "verbal communication" section.  That is really good!!  Here are some of his latest accomplishments

Instead of throwing his puppy dog, or asking me to pull his dog by the leash, he can now pull it behind him!

One of  the questions on the 18 month survey is "can your child stack at least 3 objects on top of one another"  Take That ...Survey!  Try 15!

We like to stack our cheese cubes as well :)

We got Ely a new toy about a month ago that has a mallet and some balls that you have to hit down a shoot.  Well, hit is an understatement, try bang with all your might to get this ball to drop down the hole!  I put the toy away because it was hard for me to do!  I was cleaning up the other day, and I see Ely push the ball down with his hand.  So I gave him the mallet and showed him how hard you have to hit it.  Can you guess?  Yes, this is his new favorite toy.  Now I am just waiting for Henry to get clobbered in the head like he did the other day by Ely's frying pan.

And finally... definitely not a question on the survey.. but a shocking and a little scary milestone for Mom and Dad.  Ely chose what shoes he wanted to wear and there was NO putting the other shoes on his feet.  I wanted the Puma's, HE wanted the New Balance, and there was no changing his mind.  We went with the New Balance! :) Is our 18 month old already starting to have an opinion on what he wears??
