Gigi is in Town!!

We have had so much fun these last few days with Gigi in town.  She came in on Wed. and Ely and I went to pick her up at the station.  I liked that I just said the word "station".  Anyway, he gave her a shy smile at first but warmed up in no time.  We went to the park with the ducks first and then made our way back home for dinner and then bath/bed.  He was so excited to have Gigi give hm a bath.

Thurs. we went to the galleria so he could play at the indoor playground.  A little girl tried to push his had away from one of the toys, so in turn Ely shoved her out of the way.  Of course the girls Dad came running over and said "NO" to Ely.  Gigi and I just sat back and watched on this one.  He was defending himself right?!

How did I know we made the right move? Well, Friday in Little Gym he mowed over a little girl.  After he saw what he did, he went and gave her a hug.  He did this on his own!  He is so sweet.  I was so proud of him.  Later on that day, Ely and Gigi played outside.

I have decided that the lawn mower is offically Ely's favorite toy.  Pretty much any chance he gets, Ely is pushing that lawn mower up and down the driveway.  Good news is that he can now turn it around by himself. Bad news is that when it is time to go inside, I am dealing with a major meltdown.
